Soup bowls with lid and saucer from the Blåkant porcelain set designed by the legendary Grethe Meyer in 1965 for Royal Copenhagen. All pieces are marked with the green hallmark and three waves and are all in very good condition with no cracks, breaks or repairs. The soup bowls are sold individually (bowl, lid and saucer) so remember to update the quantities.
These are unique artifacts that come from the estate of Hilmar B. Jónsson, a chef. He was a chef at Bessastaðir and took some of his personal belongings to the official residence. According to close relatives, Hilmar served this set in his personal residence at Bessastaðir and presented it to, among others, President Vigdís Finnbogadóttir.
