Terms and Conditions

In general

Gallerí Fló is a consignment store that sells products that have had previous owners and are sold on www.galleriflo.is and www.galleriflo.is/en. These terms and conditions define the rights and obligations of Gallerí Fló on the one hand and the seller of the product on the other. If these terms and conditions have not been accepted upon delivery of products to Gallerí Fló, they are considered accepted upon registration of the first product in Gallerí Fló's system that seller has access to.

Types of products

  • Gallerí Fló accepts all brands and types of products as long as they meet Gallerí Fló's condition requirements and that we consider them sellable.
  • Gallerí Fló is not responsible for damages that may occur to products, but makes a great effort to preserve these products while they are in the store's hands.

Condition requirements

  • Gallerí Fló only accepts whole, clean and products in very good condition.
  • Gallerí Fló does not accept products that are crumpled, wrinkled, dirty, stained, smelly, or defective/damaged in one way or another.

Pricing

  • The seller is free to leave the pricing entirely in the hands of Gallerí Fló or work on it jointly with Gallerí Fló. The final set price must in all cases approved by Gallerí Fló.
    • Gallerí Fló adheres to pricing rules set as a model for similar stores abroad. It is based on the same brand of the same/comparable product and 50-70% of that price. In the case of discontinued products on the retail market the pricing follows other rules that are determined case by case.
  • The seller receives up to 60% of the selling price of the product. Gallerí Fló's commission is from 40% of the sales price.
  • Gallerí Fló reserves the right to reject products or to increase its commission on individual products if they are handed to us in a condition that requires an unreasonable amount of work by the store.

Settlement

  • Settlement with sellers takes place once a month and only after a product is sold. Gallerí Fló's commission is deducted from the sale before settlement is made with the seller.
  • Settlement is paid into the sellers bank account as provided by the seller and registered in Gallerí Fló´s systems


Binding time

  • All products are locked for sale at Gallerí Fló for 60 days from the time the product is entered into our system.
  • If the seller wishes to get his products back within that time, he must pay Gallerí Fló the agreed fee according to set price of the product as registered in Gallerí Fló´s systems that the seller has access to.
  • Gallerí Fló reserves the right to withdraw products from sale and/or return products to the seller within 60 days of the binding period. This is especially true in cases where a product is considered unsellable, does not meet Gallerí Fló's quality requirements, and/or is considered to damage Gallerí Fló's image in one way or another.
  • Gallerí Fló reserves all rights to change the set price of products while it is in the responsibility of the store.

Delivery of goods (sellers)

  • The seller must send an email to Gallerí Fló if he wishes to pick up his products. The products will then be ready for pick-up 7 days after confirmed receipt of the request.
  • Products that Gallerí Fló withdraws from sale are specially marked in Gallerí Fló's systems so that the seller can react and pick them up as soon as possible. The seller is responsible for monitoring the status of his products through access granted to him in Gallerí Fló's system.
  • Products are stored for up to 10 days from the time they are removed from sale, and the seller must collect them within that time limit. If products are not picked up within 10 days, they become the property of Gallerí Fló without further financial settlement with the seller. 

Delivery of goods (buyers)

  • Orders are processed for shipment on the next business day and delivered to the drop point/post office that the buyer chooses. All shipments have a traceable shipment number from Dropp and/or the Post Office. Buyer pays shipping costs.

    The orders are distributed by Dropp/Pósturinn and Dropp/Pósturinn´s. Prices, delivery, warranty and transport terms apply to the delivery of the product as stated by each transportation party

  • Orders selected to be picked up in store are available for pick-up by an appointment.

 

Other

  • Gallerí Fló is not responsible for lost, stolen or vandalized products.
